System Information
The Tent Cities Toolkit is an enhanced DVD containing both video and computer-based materials. You can view it on your TV with a DVD remote, or in the DVD-drive of your computer.
- Web-linked features available using the DVD on your computer (Internet access required)
- Printable documents available directly from disc in Resources folder or on the web (Adobe Acrobat Reader required)
To utilize the enhanced DVD web/email functions:
Macintosh:
-Configure Apple’s DVD Player
- Open DVD in DVD player
- Choose Preferences in menu
- Choose Disc tab and select “Enable DVD@CCESS Web Links” (DVD@CCESS is no longer a supported feature by Apple. If this feature does not work properly, access resources directly from disc in Resources folder. For more information on DVD@CCESS, see the ‘About DVD@CCESS’ document in the “DVDccess folder” on your DVD).
Windows:
-You must install a small application (one time only).
- Right click on the DVD on your computer desktop to view its folders.
- Open the “DVDccess” folder.
- Run the installer application (DVD@ccess.exe) and follow instructions.
- Restart the computer to activate the DVD@CCESS functionality. (DVD@CCESS is no longer a supported feature by Apple. If this feature does not work properly, access resources directly from disc in Resources folder. For more information on DVD@CCESS, see the ‘About DVD@CCESS’ document in the “DVDccess folder” on your DVD).
